My child care programs allows me to care for two children under the age of 18 months. This allows me to give each infant more individual care and still provide a well balanced curriculum for the other children. The State of Ct Home Day Cares are licensed to watch 6 children under the age of 5(until kindergarten) and 3 school age children. Having a mix age group teaches all the children to take care of each other and themselves. I believe in giving my infants plenty of floor time to explore their surroundings and to become more mobile. I provide a variety of toys and equipment that are appropriate for each age and stage of your child's development. I have cared for infants for over 35 years and I am always continuing my education on infant care by attending seminars and training available to me. I am also certified for infant CPR and first aid, EPI-pen and medication. I am currently enrolled in a training series for infant mental health!

Parents are responsible for disposable diapers, diaper cream and/or rash ointment, baby food and daily prepared bottles. By having the parents provide the baby food this allows for the parent to see about any allergies to food before I serve them. I will provide milk, meals and snacks after the child's first birthday.
